Reception Applications to start school in September 2024

Children born between 1 September 2018 - 31 August 2019 start Reception class in Primary School in September 2023.

1.  Apply online Birmingham Schools Reception Admissions

2.  Complete and return our school Supplementary Information Form (below) to the school office with evidence of your child's baptismal certificate if they are a Catholic child.  Only complete applications will be accepted.

• Please remember to complete both processes
• Closing date for applications: 15 January 2024
• Offers will be made: 16 April 2024   
• Online applicants that submit their application with a valid email address will be sent an offer by email on 16 April 2024 by Birmingham City Council. Parents/carers that submit an online application without a valid email address will be sent an offer letter by first class post which should arrive from 16 April 2024 and should be delivered by the end of that week. Finally, please remember, you do not need to have the internet at home. You can apply online from any device with internet access.

Year 6 Transition to Secondary School September 2024 - Admissions Closing Date is 31st October 2023 at 11.59pm

Children born between 1 September 2012 - 31 August 2013 transfer to a secondary school in September 2024.

Nursery Applications

Nursery Applications to start Nursery in September 2024

Children born between 1 September 2018 - 31 August 2019 start Nursery in September 2024.

1.  Complete and return our Nursery application form to the school office, with evidence of your home address and your child's birth and baptismal certificates.  Only complete applications will be accepted.

• Offers will be made: 16 April 2024

Government Free Childcare Entitlement

St Dunstan's Catholic School offer three full days of Nursery provision (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8.50 - 3.15 pm), funded by the Government's 15-hour universal entitlement.  If your child is eligible for 30 hours of free childcare, you can use the remaining 15 hours of 'extended entitlement' with another provider.
