‘Computational thinking’ is a skill we aim to instill in our children to enable them to participate effectively in this digital world. Through their computing lessons, they will learn how computers and computer systems work, they will design and build programs, develop their ideas using technology and create a range of content.
Being safe online is of utmost importance at St Dunstan’s, children spend a week each year learning all the skills they need to make good choices. This is then reinforced throughout their learning. Computing has deep links with mathematics, science, and design and technology, and provides insights into both natural and artificial systems.
