Friends of St Dunstan's

"As we grow with God, we learn from each other"

Friends of St Dunstan's

St Dunstan's school has an active PTA, known as Friends of St. Dunstan's, which is also a registered charity.
We raise funds to provide a variety of benefits for the children to enjoy at school.

Over the years the Friends of St. Dunstan's have organised and funded many fun filled events  along with providing additional equipment for the school.

Here is a reminder of just some of the wonderful things we been able to provide:
  • An outdoor classroom,
  • An annually funded coach for the Year 6  PGL residential visit
  • Visits from the poet laureate
  • Royal ballet visit
  • A beautiful carved wooden Risen Christ our for school hall
  • Music player and sound system
  • Leavers' book gifts for Year 6.
  • Outdoor notice board

We are always keen to hear new ideas that would help us to fundraise. If you have any hobbies, work in a company that hold charity days etc we are keen to know.

Your ongoing support, whether this is getting involved or just turning up and spending money at our organised events, is always appreciated.

We hold a friendly, informal meetings on a regular basis. Our AGM is held at school; at this we discuss events for fund raising opportunities and look here ideas from the Headteacher about where to spend the money that we have raised.

If you feel you can help in any way please do not hesitate to email us at  enquiry@stdunstans.bham.sch.uk

Thank you,
Friends of Saint Dunstan's.

As well as raising money for the school we contribute to local charities and any major world wide appeals that are going on. Money raised by the Friends of St Dunstan's has bought the Outdoor Classroom in our playground which is used not just as a shelter but as an area that children can work in. The statue of the Risen Christ was purchased by the Friends of St Dunstan's and was blessed by Fr. Fitzpatrick.

During this difficult time, we are still in the process of finding new ways to fundraise.  We will let you know of any events taking place.
