Thank you to all the children, staff and parents for your support which enabled us to achieve the Health for Life Award on 27th January at a ceremony at the Council House, along with other Primary Schools.  We want to continue the growing and cooking activities as well as partaking in exercise regularly throughout each year, so that the children in this school understand the importance of sustaining a healthy lifestyle.

 What is Health for Life?
The overall aim of this project is to give children a greater awareness and understanding of the benefits of a sustained healthy lifestyle. We have been awarded a grant of £3500.  We have received half of this grant and have spent the majority of it on buying the resources to build the raised beds needed to grow crops.

We will keep you informed with the process through our Health for Life Newsletter which can be downloaded below.
