From September 2012, Ofsted introduced inspection arrangements that challenged the education system to do better and in so doing raised the bar for school inspections.
An effect of this is that it is harder for schools to be judged "outstanding". However the old grade of "satisfactory" was also changed to "requires improvement". Whilst it is harder to achieve "outstanding" it has also become harder to achieve "good".
Whilst on the face of it the school has maintained "good" status, we have made significant improvements in the 2014 inspection. The management and governors of the school are pleased that we have maintained a "good" status, as we have a solid grounding on which to strive towards the continuing improvement of the school.

Religious Education Inspection
Our school is also independently inspected and assessed by the Diocese for the quality of religious education and catholic life that we provide.
We were judged to be outstanding in our inspection of 2010, and there is a link below if you would like to review this report. We are pleased to say that we were judged to have to be outstanding in our most recent inspection in November.
