RE

‘Religious Education is the core of the curriculum in a Catholic school' Pope St John Paul II
Led by Miss Caley
Our school follows the curriculum strategy - Learning and Growing as the People of God - provided by the Archdiocese of Birmingham for teaching RE in a Catholic primary school.

Our aim is to support all our pupils on their journey of faith.
We do this through:
  • The teachings of the Jesuit virtues each half term
  • Providing lots of opportunities for children to pray
  • Vocational awareness
  • Sacramental preparation in Y3 and Y6
  • Outstanding RE lessons
  • Collective Worship
  • Catholic Life: charity and community projects

"Let us thank all those who teach in Catholic schools. Educating is an act of love; it is like giving life."
Pope Francis
