The staff at St Dunstan’s are committed to developing children’s excitement and curiosity about the world around them.
From Early Years through to Year 6 children are encouraged to ask their own questions and be actively involved in finding the answers. Children are given lots of opportunity to work scientifically and use the five types of scientific enquiry: observation over time; pattern seeking; identifying, grouping and classifying; comparative and fair testing; research using secondary sources. We want our children to be eager scientists who enjoy their learning.
