Social Media and Gaming

"As we grow with God, we learn from each other"
Warning from West Midlands Police RE: Social Media App UNICO LIVE

Social Media and Gaming

Children under 13 MUST NOT be using social media sites ie Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter.

Games are age-rated just like films by a company called PEGI. They range from suitable for 3 years old up to 18 year olds and over.

They also have symbols on them that refer to the type of content that the gamer will have access too.

Please continue to check the age rating and content of your children's games.
The below documents provide information for the parents and families of our pupils.
As a school we embrace the use of technology and are fully aware of the amazing benefits of having devices at the fingertips of children. However, children (as well as adults) can be vulnerable to the pitfalls of not being knowledgeable and thoughtful digital citizens. All pupils at St. Dunstan's Catholic Primary School are taught online safety skills as part of the computing curriculum and during E-Safety week, as well as at other times when using the iPads and laptops.
