Reception Applications to start school in September 2025

Children born between 1 September 2020 - 31 August 2021 start Reception class in Primary School in September 2025.

  1.  Apply online Birmingham Schools Reception Admissions                                  2.  Complete and return our school Supplementary Information Form (below) to the school office with evidence of your child's baptismal certificate if they are a Catholic child.  Only complete applications will be accepted. Please remember to complete both processes

• Closing date for applications: 15 January 2025
• Offers will be made: 16 April 2025   
• Online applicants who submit their application with a valid email address will be sent an offer by email on 16 April 2025 by Birmingham City Council. Parents/carers who submit an online application without a valid email address will be sent an offer letter by first-class post which will be posted on 16 April 2025 and should be delivered by the end of that week. Finally, please remember, that you do not need to have the internet at home. You can apply online from any device with internet access.

Nursery Applications

Nursery Applications to start Nursery in September 2025

Children born between 1 September 2020 - 31 August 2021 start Nursery in September 2025.

1.  Complete and return our Nursery application form (below) to the school office, with evidence of your home address and your child's birth and baptismal certificates.  Only complete applications will be accepted.

• Closing date for applications: 10th February 2025
• Offers will be made: 24th February 2025

Government Free Childcare Entitlement

St Dunstan's Catholic School offer three full days of Nursery provision (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8.50 - 3.15 pm), funded by the Government's 15-hour universal entitlement.  If your child is eligible for 30 hours of free childcare, you can use the remaining 15 hours of 'extended entitlement' with another provider.

Year 6 Transition to Secondary School September 2025 

Secondary Admissions for September 2025 Closing Date is 31st October 2024 at 11.59pm

Children born between 1 September 2013 - 31 August 2014 transfer to a secondary school in September 2025.
