Welcome to St Dunstan's Catholic Primary School
Thank you for visiting our website. We hope that you find it informative and interesting.
My name is Mr. Kenny and I have been head teacher here for 15 years. St. Dunstan's is a great place to be with a very welcoming atmosphere that is given to us by our fantastic children and wonderful staff.
I hope that by looking at our website you will want to come and see our school in action and this is something you are always welcome to do.
In 2014, OFSTED said that ours was ‘a good school’ and that ‘working together has helped sustain the school’s good quality and improved it further since the previous inspection’.
When the diocese came to inspect our school they said that we were an ‘outstanding Catholic school’.
We pride ourselves on many things:
We are very proud that Birmingham Local Authority and the diocese chose our school for a £2m extension to help with the growing population of Birmingham. Following the project’s completion we are proud to boast large air-conditioned classrooms across Key-Stage 1 and Key-Stage 2; we have very spacious Reception and Nursery classrooms with their own toilets and cloakrooms; the youngest children have their own playground where they play and learn throughout the day.
As a father of four children I know how important it is to know that your children are in a happy, safe place that will enable them to become citizens that we can all be proud of. St Dunstan's Catholic School is a place that does this.
As our friends in Bishop Challoner secondary school always say: "Children from St Dunstan's School hit the floor running!"

We are very ambitious in hoping for the very best for our children. Our vision’s main aim will always be for our children to grow into ‘Lifelong learners’:
Our teachers will inspire and challenge all who work within our school, nurturing confidence in the children to continue a lifelong journey of learning.
Our children will be confident, fair, tolerant and caring and will persevere when challenged on their lifelong learning journey.
Our homes will be environments where learning is valued and family’s work together to motivate and inspire one another to learn throughout their lives.
The relationship between our parish and school community continues to thrive so we can all grow in our lifelong journey of faith.
